Changelog
What is new in Glyphex.
October 2026
- Browse individual sessions: entry page, path, duration, source, device, and country. Open any session to see its pages in order.
- Save any combination of filters as a segment and apply it again in one click.
- Compare any period against the previous period, the same period last year, or a custom range.
- See the paths visitors take through your site, from entry to exit, and where they drop off.
- Moving from Umami? Import your history into Glyphex and keep your charts continuous.
- The tracker core is now 1.6 KB. New sites get about 2 KB by default, and optional modules load only when you turn them on.
- Location is now resolved on our own servers, with no third-party lookup. Visitor IDs are generated per site and reset every day, so visitors cannot be followed across sites or days.
- The free plan now includes 2 sites, 50k events per month, and 6 months of data history.
- A standalone pricing page with a full plan table and FAQ, in English, German, and French.
August 2026
- Glyphex now runs a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and any MCP client can read your site analytics in plain language. Point your tool at https://glyphex.io/api/mcp with your API key.
July 2026
- New free tool: the AI bots directory: every notable AI crawler (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, and 19 more) explained, with user-agent strings and copy-paste robots.txt snippets.
- New free tool: the AI robots.txt generator: pick which AI bots to block and copy a ready-made robots.txt. Presets for blocking training crawlers while keeping AI search traffic.
- Fixed the Top Pages panel on the all-sites overview showing no data.
- Getting in touch is now a contact form (footer and docs) instead of a support email address. Messages reach us instantly.
- The dashboard is now available in German and French. Switch language from the account menu. The marketing site, docs, and glossary are fully localized too.
- More accurate visitor location: visitors are now geolocated by their real IP, fixing cases where traffic arriving through a CDN edge was attributed to a neighbouring country. Visitor counts are slightly more accurate as a result.

Tiers & deltas
v1.7- Row-level period deltas on the site dashboard. Channels, referrers, top pages, and countries now show ↑/↓ change vs the prior period right next to each row.
- Agency plan tier (€39/mo) sits above Growth for agencies managing client sites.
- Stripe metadata flow improvements: subscriptions now reliably carry their plan ID through webhook and sync paths.
March 2026
Reports & alerts
v1.6- Scheduled email reports: weekly or monthly summaries to up to 10 recipients per site.
- Alert notifications: threshold, percentage change, and goal-based triggers with 24h cooldown.
- Country exclusion filter: site-wide setting applied to dashboard, reports, and API.
- Dashboard performance: Suspense streaming so the critical path renders immediately while sections stream in.
- Geo and device filter dropdowns on every analytics sub-page.
